Yesterday, on the 6th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, a coalition of community groups, held what they called a “Press Conference & Community Gathering”  to “look at the betrayal of public trust in the past six years” and ask “about the ways charter schools have negatively affected our children and about the scandals and failures of charter schools and RSD-run schools.”  See the edutalknola.com blog for more information. « Read the rest of this entry »

In this blog, I hope to chronicle my experience founding a school in my new hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.
